Dad's Rasta Hat

My father...my hero whom I admire and respect more than anyone knows.  He is one of the reasons why I am here today.  Thanks dad, I love you.  This tribute is for you.  The rasta pattern hat was VERY easy to make.  As long as you follow the pattern its a piece of pie.  Yes pie...I figured cake is used too much.  You can find the pattern by following this link. http://crochetncrafts.com/rastahat.html.  Instead of the pretty blue yarn you see on the page, I used red heart's mulicolored yarn as per request by my dad.  I hope you all enjoy this pattern!

Hailey's American Girl Doll Communion Dress (Summer Dress)

Since my niece Hailey received her First Holy Communion in May, and I am her God Mother, I decided to make her American Girl Doll a communion dress.  Fitting right?  I added a hat that I found on crochetcentral.com but I now cannot find that pattern.  However the original dress pattern I used can be found here.  It's currently for sale, and its a beautiful pattern. Here is the pattern for the site that I found the pattern on http://fatcatcrochetcorner.blogspot.com/2010/07/doll-dress.html.  Let me know what you think of it.

Sorry for the Delay!

Alright, well I have been mighty busy doing projects and finishing my school year I have forgotten I had this blog to begin with.  So...bare with me.  I will be posting a few pictures of projects I have done complete with the patterns and or links that I had found them from.  If you have any questions...don't hesitate to ask!
But the first item is a bathing suit pattern for my nieces American Girl Hailey Doll.  The pattern can be found here at this link.  http://www.making-doll-clothes.com/Doll-Clothes-Patterns.html.  Also the matching hat is on that site as well.  Let me know what you think, all comments and criticism are open for comment!

Jack Skellington Crochet Pattern

So one day, I'd say right before the holidays  came into full swing, I came across this pattern for Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas.  Now, while I am not a fan of the movie, my friend Nicole definitely is. So, I decided to make it for her as a Christmas present.  Needless to say, she loved it!  Thank you to the creater of this fine craft, you are truly a gifted individual.  To see where I got this pattern, and make it for yourself go to the link posted to the bottom of this blog.  And if you decide to make this and post it on a blog, please give credit to the original creater of this pattern.  Happy New Year everyone!

Tiffany's iPod Nano Case

I made this for a 13 year old niece.  It is my own pattern, and she ultimately loved it.  The pattern is very easy, and I completed the entire project, even the beading within 30 minutes.

Pattern:

CH, 6

SC in 2nd CH from hook, and SC across

SC 13 more rows

Fold in half, and with a crochet eye needle, whip stitch up the sides.

Beading optional.

If you want to know how I did the beading, please post me a comment on here.  The beads ended up falling off, so I will come up with a better way to put them on.

Post Holidays

Alright everyone, as promised, I said I will get some things together after finals and I have.  I am currently working on some other projects, but I am going to post the ones that I have done already.  Please leave me any feedback if you like.

Hello Everyone!

I decided to start a blog of all the crochet patterns and projects that I do.   I have a corner in my house that is over flowing with yarn and crochet hooks and needles.  However, due to it being finals week, I won't be posting anything here soon.  Since I am a novice at crocheting, I will give FULL credit to those who developed patterns of their own, and I have decided to use.  It is only fair that I do this, because I believe in doing the right thing and giving credit to the people who deserve it.  If I put a pattern on here that is my own, I only ask for the same thing in return if you decide to sell whatever it is you make.  Until next Wednesday folks, I'll see you soon!
